The entry fee is €50 for the soap box race and €25 for the Bobbycar race. All proceeds from the event will go to charitable purposes (club and youth sports in Göttingen). We want the soap box race to be fun, but also safe. That is why we have put together a few rules. If you do not want to build everything yourself, you can buy individual components or use a complete kit.
In the soap box race, each race consists of two runs. The final score is based on the average time from both runs. The driver or team (age 11 and older) with the fastest average time wins. In addition to the time ranking, we will award a prize for the most creative design. The idea, design and originality of the soap box car will be considered.
In the Bobbycar race, there are also two runs. Drivers must be between 6 and 10 years old. The final score is based on the average time from both runs. In addition, we will award a prize for the most elegant run.
